Communications

Communication is my strongest skill. Colleagues often praise my ability to explain and distill complex ideas. My communication style can shift to accommodate clients in a business setting, researchers in an academic setting, or my undergraduate students in American Government courses at Baruch College. My writing has been pitched to a variety of audiences, including reports and punchy Op-Eds for business clients and more technical studies for academics. I am also an experienced grant writer and have dipped my toes into producing podcasts.

Communication skills: Strategic messaging and media placement, social media strategy (Twitter & Instagram), and podcast producing. Fluent in English and French. Advanced in Spanish.

Management

I thrive in environments where I am challenged to learn something new everyday and I find that management is one way to satiate my endless curiosity.

Project management: I approach project management like a strategic game and always prioritize meeting deadlines as well as ensuring that my team is fully prepared to succeed. This requires meticulous coordination, problem-solving, and an ability to judge which teammates are best suited to succeed at each task.

Client management: I have had the chance to work with clients in industries as varied as sustainable travel, black female entrepreneurship, personal finance for women, and coral conservation. I always place the client’s needs front and center.

Personnel management: I am a people-driven, empathetic manager who prioritizes creating a harmonious environment where individuals can produce their best work.
